Can confirm to not overmeasure. If there's even a little wiggle room especially if its too long, penis can start to get erect then it pulls cage away from body which pulls on testicles. Luckily I have no apparent long term damage, but If I do screw it, they're useless anyway! Haha.

I remember searching online and being concerned with it being too tight, too loose is terrible too. Not too mention it's more likely to fall off, this would be an embarrassing occurrence at the grocery store!! Sorry sir I must've dropped some change...o dear.

Sizing for a male chastity cage:

Here’s what works best for me: (your results may vary)

• Measure the flaccid penis, choose a cage that fits the flaccid penis in length and girth. A snug cage prevents most painful erections. It should be snug, but not tight.

• Measure the circumference around the base of the balls including the penis (again when flaccid). This will be the circumference of the base ring. It shouldn’t be tight when flaccid.

• The tricky part is the gap between the cage and the ring, it should not be too tight, but again, this gap should be small enough to stop the balls from retracting past the base ring. This can happen when relaxed, especially at night, and can be painful, especially if both balls are of different sizes.

• If you’re going for long term wear, opt for a cage that has a lot of openings, that allows for ventilation and easy cleaning. Metal is better than plastic, but can be heavier.

• Initially, you might need to lube around the base ring and on the front of the testicles. Silicone based lube works best, because it can remain longer than Water based lube.

• Expect to have to start slowly, you will have to increase the time gradually.

• Finally, unless you have a PA piercing, or are using a urethral insert, there are no cages that will be 100% safe from pulling a flaccid penis out. It’s the nature of the beast, however you should not be able to remove the cage completely, past the testicles.
